Presentation book "The Cult of Santa Rosalia Bivona in" small steps

was held Saturday, March 28th at 18:30 at the former Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Bivona presentation of my book "The Cult of Santa Rosalia in Bivona. Fercolo and The Church," published by the City of Bivona.
The book was presented by the architect. Lorenzo Sagona.
Speakers included the Deputy Mayor for PI lawyer. Mayor Brown and Salvatore Bivona Hon John Panepinto

The book, the result of years of passionate research and archival art history is a summary of the history of religion and the Church of the Holy Bivona, with particular attention to the artistic aspects, so far little investigated. Great space is given to the fercolo Santa, the most beautiful work of art Bivona, a true masterpiece of wooden sculpture of the Sicilian 600 and one of the best examples of the refined culture of Sicily in late mannerist, which now will finally be "unveiled" to the faithful and citizens bivonesi.
huge success at the book presentation that featured speeches of the Councillor for Education and Mayor Brown John Panepinto, who stressed the will of the City to support cultural activities, research and studies related to land and cultural heritage of Bivona. They also recalled the Itinerarium Rosaliae which will start shortly. The arch. Sagona has focused on the description of the various parts of the book and highlighted the scientific value as well as the reliability, competence and passion with which the author has been conducting studies into the artistic heritage of Bivona, so far little studied.
BIVONA THANKS FOR OFFICIAL LOCAL AND ALL THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE PRESENTATION.
