BARNABY UNITED STATES IS A CHILD with disarming naivete that lives in his own fantasy world populated by fairies. One night my mother reads him a tale that tells of a Fairy Godmother and, before the child was asleep, through the open window of his room, Mr. O'Malley enters , Fate Godfather of Irish descent. But O'Malley, a funny little man wearing a raincoat and a hat pulled down over his head, is very clumsy in the magical arts and also his wand has a peculiar shape: it is, in fact, a cigar that keeps almost constant close between his lips. Barnaby is the only one who can see his fate Godfather and this results in surreal situations in which his parents believe he suffers from visions.
During the series, alongside the two main characters take shape gradually more bizarre figures: the ghost Gus , Martino the talking dog and the little neighbor Jane .
